SMS Program Terms

Adopt-A-Fish, a product of Wolf Lake LLC. Effective July 24, 2026.

Adopt-A-Fish sends conversational text messages from your adopted virtual fish. Receiving these messages is the core of the service you sign up for.

Opt-in: you consent to receive messages by entering your phone number during signup on this website. We only text subscribers who have completed signup.
Frequency: varies, typically 1 to 3 messages per day, never more than 8, only within the hours you choose. Your fish sets its own schedule; that is the point.
Cost: message and data rates may apply per your mobile carrier's plan.
Pictures: your fish may occasionally send you a picture of itself (MMS). If you send a picture or other media, we do not download, store, or process it — your fish can't open pictures you send.
Opt-out: text STOP at any time to stop all messages immediately, including anything already scheduled. Text START to resume. You can also pause from Settings on the website.

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
